Mary Nell Sitten Findley, age 79, of Talking Rock, Georgia passed on Monday, November 25, 2013, at her residence.She was born August 5, 1934 in Ellijay, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Farris Sitten and the late Erna Buckner Sitten. She was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church for over 42 years. Mrs. Findley was a graduate of Gilmer High School, class of 1953 and was a homemaker. Preceded in death by her husband, Willie Howard Findley, brothers Raymond and F.C. Sitten.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Floyd Edmondson of Ellijay, GA, son and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Jo Ann Findley of Talking Rock, Grandchildren, Amy and Lori Edmondson and Jocelyn Findley, brother, Morris Sitten of Chatsworth, GA, sisters, Ophelia “Blondie” Sitten Pritchett of Lincoln Park, MI, Catherine Sitten Cantrell of Ellijay, GA and Sue Sitten Bowers of Marietta, GA. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday December 1st, 2013 at the Clear Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Coy Richards, Rev. Jerry Banks and Rev. Billy Dotson officiating. Interment will be in Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Music and singing will be by the Clayton family. Pallbearers will be Ed, Jim, Bill, Bob and Terry Findley, Donnie Cantrell, Gary Sitten, Ricky, Mark, Gary and Randy Hyde and Tim Parks.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at the Logan Funeral Home. Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to the Clear Creek Baptist Church C/O Brent Sanford at 187 Bible Baptist Road Ellijay, GA 30536.
