The Clear Creek Middle School Bobcats wrestling team pummeled the Panthers of Union County 66-15, with eight of the 10 Clear Creek wins coming via pin.Head Coach Walt Monroe, was pleased with the win, and had this to say about his team’s performance.
“Our kids came out and really wrestled well tonight. We were fighting for position and trying to hit moves that we have worked on. It is exciting to see how much this team has improved so far. We have a long way to go, but based on seeing Union earlier in a tournament about 5 weeks ago, we really felt that this was going to be a close match. Our wrestlers came out and attacked and we scored a lot of falls. There is still half a season left and we have a long way to go as a team. The coaching staff is looking forward to seeing how much we continue to improve.”
