Gilmer County “Covered” in Snow

Gilmer County woke up to a bone chilling 18 degrees on Monday morning to the sight of much less than seven dwarves worth of snow white on the green grass and paved paths. Ice also accompanied the light layer of snow. The town square turned into a skating rink with some cars sliding on ice. The Court House was closed for the day around 9:00.

With students still on break from the Holidays, school did not have to use a snow day.
