Tourism Partners Meeting January 28 at 5:30pm Gilmer County Chamber of Commerce, 696 First Ave., East Ellijay.

Sometimes visitors don’t always go directly to the experts, and it can be frustrating when you don’t have the answers your customers want. This is a great opportunity to get the information that you need to help answer those questions.

We will have three speakers providing information to our tourism partners, so that you may be able to answer questions like, “Where do we go for a hike?”, “Where can I get a map of the trails?”, “Do I need a fishing license?”, “Where do I get a fishing license?”

Travis Crouch, owner of North Georgia Mountain Outfitters will provide information on local hiking trails.
Terry Palmeri, owner of Cartecay Bike Shop will provide information on local bike trails. Alan Sacks, Blue Ridge Mountain Trout Unlimited will provide information on local fishing.

Everyone in the tourism industry is invited to attend, Chamber member or non-member. If you are a restaurant, retail establishment, attraction, or lodging partner in our community- we invite you to attend. There is no charge to attend; however, we will need a count of attendees.
