Norman Black : Obituary

Mr. Norman Leon Black age 55 of Craig Town Rd. Ellijay, GA died Wednesday March 26, 2014.Mr. Black was born January 30, 1959 in Jackson County, Alabama to Clifford and Jewell Gant Black. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Mr. Black is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Black, sister, Jean Black and brother, Alvin Black.

Survivors Include: Wife Rebecca Black, of the home; Children Jason Black and Brooke Fernander, Ellijay, Jeremy and Amber Black, Ellijay, Julie and Jayson Taylor, Talking Rock; Grandchildren Apryl Black, Summer Black, Hunter Black, H.D. Taylor and Mason Young; Mother Jewell Black, Ellijay; Brothers John Black, Canton, GA, James, Wallace and Larry Black, all of Ellijay; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 29th at 4pm from the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Martin and Rev. Wallace Parks officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday March 28th from 3pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
