The Gilmer Bobcats Mountain Bike Club has been started by Jon Hudgins and Terry Palmeri. The two Gilmer County residents recognizing the need to take advantage of the title “The Mountain Biking Capital of Georgia” the need for more active children, created a Mountain Biking Team, open to all Gilmer High School students as well as home school students in Gilmer County that are high school age. Hudgins will be the head coach while Palmeri will handle the administrative duties of the team. Both recently sat down with the FYN Sports team to discuss the new bike club.
