Carroll Paul Page, age 80 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at his residence.Mr. Page was born September 3, 1933 in Canton, Georgia to his late parents Paul Wayne and Dorotha Bernice Hopkins Page. Carroll was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and served his country honorably in the US Marine Corps from 1953-1956. He worked for Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA for over 28 years as a black box electrician.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sue Reece Page of the home in Ellijay, GA; Daughters and sons-in-law Gina and Tom Pendley of Jasper, GA, Teri and Terry Nealey of Ellijay, GA, Donna Page Irvine of Marietta, GA, Judith Page Klein of Waterloo, Iowa, and Susan Page Coutu of TN; Son, Mark Page of Ellijay, GA; Grandchildren and in-laws Mackenzie and Darren Gaddis, Heather and Chris Harper, Jessica and Jeffery Hunter, Nick and Jessica Nealey, Sadie Irvine, Jacob Irvine, Nathan Klein, Jeremy Klein, Ian Coutu, and Nevan Coutu; 8 Great grandchildren; Brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Patsy Page of Canton, GA also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 7th, 2014 from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Rosser, Rev. Edmund Miller, Rev. Rubin Smith and Rev. Mark Kelley officiating. Music and vocals will be by Tommy Jarrett, Loy Jarrett and the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church choir. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Moody, Loy Jarrett, Dennis Vinson, Alan Dover, Darrell Strickland, Charles Nealey, and Joseph McCollum.

Family will receive friends from 2pm until 7pm on Sunday, July 6th, 2014 at the Logan Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 115 Pleasant Grove Road, Ellijay, GA 30540 or to the Georgia Mountains Hospice at 70 Caring Way, Jasper, GA 30143 in memory of Mr. Page.
