WHY, NOW after almost 4 years and at the end of his term would Commissioner Danny Hall feel the need to discuss the appointment of Department Heads for Gilmer County, when we have gone ALL of this time without them? Why would there be a need now to appoint and approve Department Heads 4 months before the end of the terms of Mr. Hall and Chairman Sanford. I believe that Chairman Sanford is the one who has refused to appoint people to permanently fill these positions. This way he had more control over ACTING DH’s who had NOT been approved by the BOC. This way he could push them around and make them do as he saw fit without the other 2 Commissioners being involved. Why NOW when we are so close to having a NEW Board and a NEW Chairman does Mr. Hall feel the need to GET INVOLVED in GOVERNING and MAKING SURE that things are done RIGHT by the Chairman. WHY NNOW DANNY, Are you trying to push some Dept. Heads into positions that you feel they don’t deserve or that they won’t be put into later, What’s really going on when you try to play your games? Like you said last month, it’s still your seat so it’s still your job. The ONLY THING you are trying to do is to make it harder for NEW COMMISSIONERS coming in 4 months from now! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! Now you know why the voters of Gilmer County chose to send you packing! Unfortunately it won’t be soon enough!
