Harrison Park Ribbon Cutting Held During Ellijay Heritage Day Celebration

The Gilmer Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of Harrison Park on Saturday September 13th, following the Ellijay Heritage Day parade. The ribbon cutting was followed by the all day Ellijay Heritage Celebration at Harrison Park. Speakers at the ribbon cutting included Speaker David Ralston, Mayor Al Hoyle, Marianne Harrison Bowman, and Downtown Development Authority Chair Melinda Hadden.

Vendors, spectators and Gilmer County officials were all included in the festivities.
