Mr. Fred Jackson Keener age 68 of East Ellijay, GA died Saturday September 20, 2014. Mr. Keener was born February 25, 1946 in Gilmer County to the late John Keener, Sr. and Susie Sutton Keener. He was a member of the East Ellijay Baptist Church and was a 1964 Gilmer High School Graduate.
Survivors Include: wife, Carol Waters Keener, of the home; son and daughter in-law, Tim and Kara Keener, Canton, GA; daughter and son in-law, Missy and Tom Ocobock, West Point, GA; sister and brother in-law, Bonnie and Charles Moss, Ellijay, GA; sisters in-law, Gusta Keener, Marie Keener, Lorene Keener and June Keener, all of Ellijay; special family, Joseph, Cheryl and Mallory Clayton; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Dale Ocobock, Peyton Jackson Ocobock, Reagan Keener and Noah Keener.
Funeral Services will be held Monday September 22nd at 3pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jess Posey and Rev. Emuel Sanford officiating.
Interment will follow in the East Ellijay City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday September 21st from 11am until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
