Sandra Foster Amaral passed away August 9,2014 in Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia from heart failure.
She was the daughter of the late Glover H. Foster & Hazel S. Foster. Sandra moved with her family to Brewster as a young child where she attended Elementary School and Junior High. She graduated from Mulberry High School in the class of 1956.

After living in Louisiana and Colorado she and her husband relocated to Naples where she lived for many years. In Naples she worked for Rutenberg Homes, managed Tin City Shopping Village and Naples Dinner Theater prior to her retirement. After retirement she and her husband relocated to Palmetto, Fl. and Ellijay, Ga. Sandra loved the mountains and enjoyed working in her church thrift shop. She attended the 1st United Methodist Church in Ellijay and Family of God United Methodist Church in Palmetto.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John P. “Jack” Amaral, sons James C. Rowell Jr., Robert R. McLeod Jr.

She is survived by her brother Donald F. Foster (Patricia) of Lincolenton, Ga., sisters Beverly Foster Knotts of Plant City, Fla., Carole Foster Lee (William) of Palm Harbor, Florida, Iris Foster Conley (Dale) of Lakeland, Florida, Daughter-in-law Marise Rowell and Granddaughter Crystal Rowell of Bozeman, Montana and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on September 27th at 11 o’clock at the Family of God United Methodist Church 5601 16th Avenue East, Palmetto, Florida.
