Mr. James Clay Stanley age 72 of Ellijay, GA died Friday September 26, 2014. Mr. Stanley was born September 22, 1942 in Gilmer County the late Ferman and Mamie Edmondson Stanley. He was the owner of Stanley’s Grocery in Ellijay, GA and attended the Pisgah Church of Christ.

Survivors Include: wife, Gale Stanley, Ellijay; daughter and son in-law, Tina and David Bailey, Ellijay; sisters and brothers in-law, Charlene and Hobert Ralston, Ellijay, Carolyn and Cleavie Walker, Ellijay; one grandchild, Parker Ellington.

Funeral Services will be held Monday September 29th at 4pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Butch Jones and Minister Bill Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Pisgah Church of Christ Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday September 28th from 2pm until 9pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.
