“Sis” Hill, age 81 of Ellijay, Georgia passed from this life on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay, born on, August 4, 1933 in Ellijay, Georgia to her late parents Alfred and Lora Belle Greer Dover. She was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 1950 and a retired bookkeeper with Blue Ridge Carpet Mill. She was predeceased by brothers, Jason Coleman, “Bud” Dover and Greer Dover. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ellijay, 164 Dalton St., Ellijay, GA 30540 or Cameron Hall of Ellijay, 114 Penland Street, Ellijay, GA 30540 in memory of “Sis” Hill.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Mona and Ronnie Evans of Ellijay, GA.; son and daughter-in-law Joe and Anne Hill of Ellijay, GA.; grandchildren Chris and Pam Linder; Deena Holt, Brandon Holt; great grandchildren Jay Piper, Dylan McGhee, Justin Holt and Jesse Holt.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Ellijay with Rev. Emuel Sanford and Rev. Jim Bradley officiating. Graveside Service will follow in the Ellijay City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Westmoreland, Robert Westmoreland, Ronnie Gheesling, Paul Neeley, Charles Barclay, Chris Linder, Alan Dover and Steve Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be special friends from Cameron Hall.
