Emanuel Louis Jordano age 68 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Thursday, October 9, 2014, at his home in Ellijay, Georgia.He was born May 20, 1946 in Teaneck, NJ to his late parents. Mr. Jordano was a graduate of Hackensack High School in Hackensack New Jersey. He joined the U.S. Navy and became a Navy Seal and served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. Mr. Jordano was a retired New Jersey State Trooper.
Survivors include wife of 40 years, Teresa Schiro Jordano of the home in Ellijay; daughters and sons in law Lori and Brian Osburn of Columbus, OH, Denise & Art Presas of Raleigh, NC., Diane Teresa DeMuro of Paterson, NJ and Christina Jordano of NJ; sons and daughter in law, Ronald and Ruth Elardo of Naples, FL., Jeffrey Jordano of NJ; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law Aminta Rollins of NJ, Arlene Garris of NJ, Maggie & Rick O’Keefe of Scottsdale, AZ; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Beverly Jardano of Scottsdale, AZ.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 13th, 2014 at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Minister Tommy Kyle officiating, and military rites will be performed by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans Chapter 28, P.O. Box 473, Blue Ridge, GA 30513 in memory of “Skip” Jordano.
