The 2014 Apple Festival in Ellijay, GA was a success in spite of the rain. Though the sun did come out for short periods the intermittent showers did not deter the enthusiasm of the festival attendees. According to Paige Green, President of the Chamber of Commerce there were still 21,500 festival goers. The vendors appeared to be happy with their sales and all participates appeared to have a great time.
