Mr. Lloyd J. Landers, age 87, of Sally Circle Ellijay, died Sunday Nov 30, 2014. Mr. Landers was born December 17, 1926 in Tampa, FL the son of the late Benny Lloyd and Queen Victoria Dupree Landers. He worked as a Glazier for a Glass company, was a veteran serving with the US Navy and the Marines and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Miami, FL and Pembroke Pines Baptist Church in Pembroke Pines FL. He was preceded in death by his wife: Clara Tankersley Landers.

Survivors include: Nieces and nephew; Retha May and Jean and Edward Woodring all of Ellijay. Special great nephew and niece, Ronald and Gail May, Ellijay, great-nieces and nephews; Kathy and Jess Posey, Gary May, Beverly and William Cantrell and Jan Stahl all of Ellijay.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Dec. 2, 2014 at 3:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jess Posey officiating. Interment will be in the Tailscreek Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Monday from 5 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
