A gunshot victim was transported for medical treatment via Life Flight earlier this evening, December 5th, 2014.FYN received the following release just a short while ago in regards to a shooting that occurred earlier this evening.
FROM THE DESK OF THE SHERIFF
The Gilmer Co. Sheriffs Office, jointly with the GBI, is investigating a case which occurred earlier today in the Roundtop Road area of Gilmer county in which an individual was shot. At this point the victim is still alive. He has suffered serious injuries and has been life-flighted to a trauma hospital. Two individuals relative to this case are in custody.
Sheriff Nicholson states,
“this investigation is still in the early stages, however I feel CERTAIN that the perpetrator is in custody and there is NO cause for public concerns for their safety. Please do not post questions relative to any specifics of this case as the above information is ALL that I can release at this point as this is a working ongoing investigation.”

this comment is about the shooting on round top in the paper it said that christy had warrants a week and half ago the drug task force raid her house took three or four people to jail took christy too but brought her back in a hour or so later in a black suv and let her out if she had warrants why didnt they arrest her then this may not have happen if she would've been arrested and she was back sell that poison to the cummunity of round top so you folks who live there can thank are fine police officers who took her back in the suv
