We wish to advise the public in order to put their mind at ease that the report of an assault of a juvenile male in his home last night IS A FALSE REPORT. The alleged crime DID NOT occur.
Upon examining the crime scene and interviewing the victim, “things did not add up,” to detectives, however, they were obligated to continue investigating until a definite determination was made as to whether or not this report was real. Today at approximately 3:15 pm, detectives received confirmation that the juvenile admitted he made the story up. There are many questions that I am sure that the public may want to know, however, because of factors that we are aware of, this is all we will elaborate on. There will be no charges filed against the juvenile.
