The Gilmer High School soccer teams competed in the Pickens High School North Georgia Soccer Classic, with Bobcats placing second and the Lady Cats placing third. The Lady Cats fell in the first game to eventual champion, Lafayette, 3-2. Sabrina Zagarola and Rosie Landaverde scored the two Gilmer goals. The Bobcats battled the Ramblers to a 2-2 tie, with Eddie Hernandez and Ervin Lopez scoring the Gilmer goals.

The Lady Ramblers beat the hosting Dragonettes, setting up a second place game between Gilmer and Pickens. The Lady Cats could not get on the board, and fell 1-0 to the Dragonettes.

The Ramblers also tied with the Dragons, 1-1, which set up a Bobcats battle for first with the Dragons. Despite an early 1-0 lead, thanks to Alex Lopez’s goal, the Bobcats fell 3-1 and placed second to Pickens.
