Psalm 23:5. “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
In your presence, O Lord, are joys forevermore. There is sumptuous grace with the finest of food for our souls. Our spiritual enemies look on and cannot do anything about our feasting that enables us to overcome them.
You anoint us with the oil of your Holy Spirit that sets us apart as your servants. We become victors in the face of opposition. We triumph over ourselves. We have an inexhaustible supply of help in time of need. With such mercies abounding our cups of grace overflow with more than enough help from Your hand.
If the cup of this one’s life is empty at present may this person experience a fresh filling for today.
