Mr. Jimmy Reid Johnson: Obituary

Mr. Jimmy Reid Johnson age 63 of Dalton, GA died Sunday April 12, 2015. Mr. Johnson was born January 2, 1952 in Gilmer County, son of the late, Elbert and Lillie Pritchett Johnson. He was a member of the Mineral Springs United Methodist Church.

Survivors Include: daughters and sons in-law, Christy Johnson and Charlie Reed, Dalton, GA, Joanie and Brandon Rhudy, Dalton, GA and Jennifer and Jason Planzer, Resaca, GA; mother of the children, Tammy Johnson, Dalton, GA; 6 grandchildren, Aaliyah, Hezekiah, Jazzmine, Hunter, Sydney and Kinlei; brothers, Ruel, Earl, Ardell and Farrell Johnson, all of Ellijay, GA, Don Johnson, Chatsworth, GA, David Johnson, Ellijay, GA and E.J. Pritchett, Ellijay, GA; sisters, Betty Hamrick, Chatsworth, GA, Brenda Studdard, Charlene Buckner and Evelene Sisson, all of Ellijay, GA.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 15th at 3pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon DeLashmitt and Rev. Tom Phipps officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday April 15th from 11am until 3pm at the funeral home.
