Mrs. Bonnie Asalee Golden Bethke: Obituary

Mrs. Bonnie Asalee Golden Bethke, age 87 of Blue Ridge, GA passed on Sunday April 19th, 2015 at the Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Canton, GA. Born September 3rd, 1927 to her late parents G.L. and Lemma Allen Golden in Blue Ridge, GA. She was a member of the Baptist faith and a former seamstress and assembler for the International Paper Company. Mrs. Bethke enjoyed gardening, cooking, being outdoors, but most of all, she loved her family.

A graveside service is scheduled for 3:00pm on Wednesday April 22nd, 2015 from the Golden Family Cemetery located at 530 Maxwell Road Blue Ridge, GA with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Russell Brumfield, Hunter Brumfield, Michael Sculley, Danny Brumfield, Jonathan Cantwell and Carmen Spara.

She is survived by her son, Danny Brumfield of Blue Ridge, GA, grandchildren, Robin Cantwell of Canton, GA, Russell Lee Brumfield of Cumming, GA, great-grandchildren, Brittany Ann Cantwell, Hunter Lee Brumfield and Jonathan Scott Cantwell, sisters, Evelyn Morris of North Sewickley, Pennsylvania and Norma Jean McLendon of Augusta, GA, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital at 2900 Rocky Point Drive Tampa, FL 33607 in memory of Mrs. Bethke.
