Fatal Accident Claims Local Man

Gilmer County, GA – Just before 10 AM on May 2nd, 2015, on February Lane out Old S.R. 5, a local resident died after flipping his truck on its side.
Local law enforcement declined to release any information about the victim or the situation in which the accident occurred as they are continuing to investigate.
However, one eyewitness stated he was in his bathroom when he heard a loud noise. He looked outside, but found nothing. A second noise, however, drove him to run outside to investigate. It was at this point he discovered an overturned black Ford truck and called 911.
The incident was officially turned over to the Georgia State Patrol. We shall continue to release information as they make it available.
