Team USA Sweeps Cadet Pan Am Games GHS Wrestler Matthew Waddell Takes Gold in Freestyle (76 KG)
Gilmer High School rising junior Bobcat wrestler, Matthew Waddell, traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico for the Cadet Pan-American games. Team USA swept both the Greco and Freestyle competitions, winning gold in both. Waddell won the Gold in Freestyle and the Bronze in Greco at the 76 kg weight class.
Team USA finished the Greco Tournament with seven champions out of nine finalists, and seven champions out of ten finalists in the Freestyle Tournament.
