Mr. Willard Perry Mooney age 84 of Rome, GA died Tuesday July 7, 2015.
Mr. Mooney was born June 14, 1931 in Gilmer County, son of the late Gardy and Lillian Cantrell Mooney. He is preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Garrett and brothers, Clay and Junie Mooney.
Survivors Include: daughters, Dorothy Anderson, of Tunnell Hill, GA, Orethea Scott, of Resaca, GA, Mary Merrell Larman, of Decatur, GA, Susan Carroll, of Chatsworth, GA and Tina Jergian, of Dalton, GA; brothers, Freeman Mooney, of Whitesburg, GA, Clifford Mooney, of Ellijay, GA and Cleamon Mooney, of Ellijay, GA; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Friday July 10th at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Scrougetown Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday July 9th from 3pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
