Virginia McClure
Virginia McClure, age 78 of the Big Creek Community of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Friday, July 3, 2015, at her residence. She was born, November 4, 1936 in Canton, Georgia, to her late parents William and Birdia Rampley Bailey. She was a member of East New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband of 62 years Rev. Johnny McClure of the home in Ellijay, GA.; daughters and sons-in-law Kathy and Ray Walker of Ellijay, Charlene and Jerry Clayton of Ellijay,; son and daughter-in-law Johnny Wayne and Deborah McClure, Ellijay; grandchildren Connie (Morris) Martin, Keith (Jessica) Cantrell, Brady(Amanda) Clayton, Brandon (Stephanie) Clayton, Kane (Kayla) Bowen; great-grandchildren Haley Stansky, William Martin, Liam Cantrell, Raychel Clayton, Joshua Clayton, Canaan Clayton and brother, Arthur Sims of Cumming, GA.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 6th, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Clayton, Rev. Billy Cantrell and Rev. Roger Burgess officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Cantrell, Brady Clayton, Brandon Clayton, John McClure, Teddy McClure and Lowery Cantrell.
