For some inane reason we Americans continue to believe if not wholly accept what politicians, Democrat and Republicans alike, and the corrupted news media, tell us about our political, economic and social status. Somehow, we stopped our own personal cognitive thinking processes long ago in the belief we would always be protected by a piece of paper, the US Constitution, and by the politicians we elected who swore to uphold it. How’s that going for us?

For example, we are fighting a ‘war on terrorism’ that has come to our own streets. That war should ended quickly because how can terrorism be our enemy? When we ask ourselves who is our enemy, terror, how is he defined and what does he look like? we can’t answer it because terrorism is not an enemy, it’s simply another method of delivering a message, like a newspaper, except with deadlier consequences. Terrorism is a tactic, theater of the world actually, and nothing more. It delivers a message to get our attention. They are telling us they can kill Americans anywhere they want at any time, even on our home turf with impunity. Why with impunity? Because they are willing to die doing it. One man, one attack. Simple as that!

In our reverie of safety we neglect to realize that, as Americans, we are really targets, not of terrorism but of an actual breathing enemy. In our case it is quite definitely Islam, not terror. The Chattanooga murders of five US service members by a lone Jihadist, was an act of war. It was an enemy attack on our presumed safety and protection. That fellow did his job and is now nestled comfortably, one supposes, among the delightful charms of seventy-two (or was it three) fat sweaty virgins in Islam’s version of heaven. I think we need a change of attitude, and fast!

It is suggested Abdulazeez radicalized himself via the internet. More probably he was provided his general marching orders via the internet and complied, striking at the heart of middle America. Apparently more evidence has surfaced that Abdulazeez actually engaged in range shooting with four other bearded males of presumedly like persuasion. If Islam, our enemy, is in Chattanooga and has already struck, where will It’s next thrust be because it’s surely coming! But again we are disarmed. The commentariat are now weaving a weepy picture of a drug besotted disillusioned Arab youth who couldn’t hold a job so took his disenchantment out by taking shooting lessons in order to attack the American military in middle American.

Desperate to prevent negative reactions by an increasingly alarmed and armed public our leaders either ignore, or strive to put the unutterable in a less ugly light, exculpate the evil deeds committed in the name of Islam, and try to convince us that only a few rogue jihadists are responsible. “You can’t blame the whole of Islam for the act of one”. Oh, can’t we? How about this: “you can’t blame Southern white Christian traditions for the act of one white nut case.” Let’s restore the Confederate Battle Flag if that’s the only argument they can muster!

Political correctness has made us too sensitive to react negatively against the depredations being committed in the name of Islam. Because of political correctness we’re actually not insensitive enough. I see the our world turning. It is only necessary to demand our politicians to turn also. We must ignore the screams from the left that we are insensitive and politically incorrect and therefore, awful racist. We must shed white guilt and we must change our attitudes. I don’t care anymore. I have started a conscious decision to be intolerant. I shall resist any thing foisted upon us not specifically authorized in the Constitution. I will not accept being called ignorant of the left’s social truths. Ignorance is curable, stupid is forever.

Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (22 July 2015)
