Mr. Nolan Larkin Miller, age 71 of Canton, GA, formerly of Ellijay, GA passed Saturday morning, July 25th, 2015 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, GA.

Mr. Miller was born on February 4th, 1944 in Cherrylog, GA to his late parents Lake Robert and Bessie Rogers Miller. He retired from IBM as a data processor. Nolan was of the Baptist faith, an avid college sports fan, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and hunting. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Faith Anise Miller, sister, Clara Miller Chancey, and brother Ralph Miller.

Mr. Miller is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Daryl Rogers of Cumming, GA; Son, Tate Larkin Miller of Sugar Hill, GA; Former spouse and friend, Mary Miller of Canton, GA; Grandchildren, Isaiah Williams, Jr., Daryn Rogers, and Camryn Rogers; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Glenn Nicholson of Blue Ridge, GA and Ann and John Vickery of Powder Springs, GA; Sister-in-law Martha Miller; Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, July 29th, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Chancey officiating. Music and vocals will be by Irene Wofford. Pallbearers will be Isaiah Williams, Jr., Alan Chancey, Nick Nicholson, Daryn Rogers, Tommy Washam, and Ron Gudger. Graveside interment will follow in the Underwood Cemetery in Cherrylog, GA.

Family will receive friends from 5pm until 9pm on Tuesday, July 28th, 2015 at the Logan Funeral Home.
