Joy Stanley: Obituary

Mrs. Joy Stanley, age 62, of Pisgah Rd Ellijay, died Wednesday September 16, 2015..

Mrs. Stanley was born June 27, 1953, in Fulton County the daughter the late John and Louise Rainwater Turner. She was office manager for H&R Block and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by parents and brother Roger Turner.

Survivors Include: husband Doyle Stanley; sons Craig Forsyth of Rockmart Ga and Phil Forsyth of Blue Ridge Ga.,2 step children; Joseph Stanley of Mountain, Missouri and Amber Stanley of Ellijay brothers; Marty Turner of Brunswick Ga, Tim Turner of Jonesboro Ga, sisters, Pam Turner of Atlanta,Kay Hendrix of Cartersville Ga.,4 grandchildren River, Brooke, Kallan and Bryson Forsyth, step grandchildren, Samantha Daniels of Houston, TX, Regan Stanley of Missouri.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 12 noon from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Family and friends officiating. Interment will be in the Pisgah Church of Christ cemetery.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to: American Heart Association 1101 Northchase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067-6411 in memory of Mrs. Stanley.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 4 until 8pm at the funeral home.
