This week’s theme is “I Wish I May, I Wish I Might”. November’s story themes are all centered in dreams, wishes, etc. All ages welcome. Story time is always followed by a simple craft you can may complete with your child.

LapSit Storytime

“I Wish I May, I Wish I Might”. LapSit is a great way to introduce early literacy skills to your child. Ages 1-3 with an adult.

Excel Lab

Did you attend the Excel class but still have questions? Do you have a spreadsheet you need help with? Plan on attending our Excel Lab where library staff will assist you one-on-one with your questions. An active library card is required.

Lunch & Learn Knitting
Wednesday, November 4 @ 12:00 PM
Bring your brown bag lunch, needles and yarn to the Gilmer County Library. Already know how to knit or crochet, come for the fun! If you are unable to attend a meeting, that’s ok. If knitting, bring #8 needles and yarn of any color. If crocheting, bring G or H hooks and Peaches & Cream cotton yarn of any color.

The Friends of the Library Bookshelf

Holiday traveling is right around the corner. Don’t forget to pick up a stash of magazines for road trips, a true bargain at $.25 each.  Magazines are displayed on the rack outside the Bookshelf and in the non-fiction “back room” as well.

Bookshelf hours are from 10:30-5:00 on weekdays and from noon-2:00 on Saturdays.
