Gilmer County will honor its veterans and all who have served and fought for their country on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11th.

A breakfast for veterans and their families will be held at the First United Methodist Church at 8:30 a.m.

The Veteran’s Day parade around downtown Ellijay will start at 10:30 a.m. with an honorary ceremony on the square to follow.   Lunch at the Ellijay Lions Club will be held immediately following the ceremony.
