Mr. Wilburn W. Smith age 73 of Ellijay, GA passed November 17, 2015.

Mr. Smith was born July 9, 1942 in Gordon County. He was a self-employed truck driver and of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his father, Wylie A. Smith and great granddaughter, LilyAnna Brinson.

Survivors Include: his wife, Carrie Sue Banks Smith, of Ellijay, GA; mother, Annie  Smith, of Ellijay, GA; son and daughter in-law, Junior and Melba Smith, of Ellijay,  GA; daughters, Tammie Keener, of Ellijay, GA and Bridgett Grimaldo, of Ellijay, GA;  brother, Rayburn Smith, of Ellijay, GA; sisters and brothers in-law, Margaret and  Ruel Fowler, of Ellijay, GA, Mary Sue and Roy Stover, of Ellijay, GA, Jackie and  Cecil Beaver, of Ellijay, GA and Elaine Letson, of Deland, FL; 5 grandchildren and spouses, Jessica and John Morrow, Jamie and John Hoyt, Hannah and Warren Brinson, Tony and Ashley Keener, Isabelle Grimaldo; 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday November 20th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Hensley and Rev. William Faucett officiating. Interment will follow in the Banks Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday November 19th from 4pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
