Mr. Mike Thompson age 55 of Ellijay, GA passed Wednesday November 18, 2015.

Mr. Thompson was born June 11, 1960 in Gilmer County. He worked for Jasper  Jeep as an auto mechanic and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include: his parents, Charles and Betty Jo Thompson, of Ellijay, GA; son,  Joel Michael Thompson, of Ellijay, GA; uncle, Harold Addington, of Dalton, GA.

Funeral Services will be held Friday November 20th at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Tarr and Rev. Pat Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday November 19th from 5pm until 9pm at the funeral home.

The family request no flowers or food be brought to the funeral home.
