DDA Calls Meeting to Cover Finance

In an emergency meeting, the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) met to officially cover an issue with finances.

A simple meeting was called Tuesday, December 1, to officially transfer funds to pay for the lighting project downtown for Light Up Ellijay. It seems a slight error occurred as the DDA had never officially voted and decided to handle the funds for this issue and was now attempting to rectify the error.

As the meeting was called with Larry Robinson, Jim Stover, Jeff Riblet, and one member, Brad Simmons, teleconferenced in, the DDA passed the motion use funds raised from the Golf Tournament to pay for the lighting.
