Mr. William David Beasley, age 69 of Ellijay, Georgia died on Tuesday, December 8th, 2015, at the North Georgia Medical Center. Born Friday, April 12th, 1946 in Jasper, Georgia, he was the son of the late Amos Beasley and the late Imogene Duckett Beasley. He retired from Gold Kist Poultry with over 35 years of service. Mr. Beasley was a member of Corinth Church of God in Talking Rock. His brother, Troy Daniel Beasley preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Sybil and Roger Ardell Johnson of Ellijay, GA and Edna Southerland of Canton, GA, sister-in-law Debbie Beasley of Chatsworth, GA, several nieces and nephews, 1 great nephew, special kin folks, Cye McPherson, Marsha Stanley, Tommy and Anita Duckett, Edith Duckett and Wanda Osborne.

A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday December 11th, 2015 at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel located with Rev. Larry Hughes and Rev. Irene Wofford officiating. Music and singing will be by Rev. Irene Wofford and Mr. Wallace Tudor.Graveside interment will follow in the Corinth Church of God cemetery, Talking Rock, GA.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, December 10th, 2015, at the Logan Funeral Home. Flowers are being accepted or memorial contributions may be sent to Alzheimer’s Association 922 East Morris Street Dalton, GA 30721 in memory of Mr. Beasley.
