Mr. Frank Winford Grice, age 86 of the Dial community in Fannin county, passed on Saturday evening, December 12th, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Grice was born on October 30th, 1929 in Fannin county to his late parents Millan Lafayette and Millie Maude Butt Grice.   Frank attended Cherry Log Christian Church for many years and was a member of the Blue Ridge Lodge, #67 F&AM where he served as Secretary for over 20 years, along with holding the offices of Past Master and Treasurer. He was a graduate of Fannin County High School and worked for many years at Kaye’s Auto Parts Store in Blue Ridge, GA. He is preceded in death by his brother Paul Grice.

Frank is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lois Adele Williams Grice, of the home in Blue Ridge, Ga; Daughter and son-in-law,   Jennifer and Tim Higdon of Blue Ridge, GA; Special niece and spouse, Patty and Steve Sheffield of Cartersville, GA; Special nephew, Tony Alonso of Trapper Creek, Alaska; Sisters, Flora Tipton of Morganton, GA and Polly Nealey of Woodstock, GA; Brothers, Ralph Grice of Mineral Bluff and Roger Grice of Rome, GA; Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16th, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Harry Spooner and Rev. Harold Willis officiating. Music and vocals will be by Richard Lumpkin. A Masonic graveside service will immediately follow in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Masonic Rites performed by Blue Ridge Lodge #67. Interment will follow in the Cherry Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm on Tuesday, December 15th, 2015 at the Logan Funeral Home.

Flowers are acceptable, or donations may be made to the Cherry Log Christian Church, P.O. Box 289, Cherry Log, GA 30522 or to the Georgia Masonic Children’s Home, 1417 Nottingham Drive, Macon, GA 31211 in memory of Mr. Grice.
