Charles Harold Deboard, age 78 of Ellijay, Georgia passed Friday, December 18, 2015, at his residence. He was born Saturday, July 17, 1937 in Ellijay, Georgia. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School and retired from Lockheed Martin. Mr. Deboard served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay.

Survivors include companion Inez Davis Logan of Ellijay; sister, Jeanette Carter of Dawsonville, GA.; nieces, nephews and special friends Johnnie Sue & Ronnie Garland of Ellijay, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday December 22nd, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Bradley officiating. Military graveside follows in the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Military Rites performed by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Interment will be in Ellijay City Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Curtis Davis, Ronnie Garland, Dennis Teems.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, December 21, 2015, at Logan Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Homeward Bound Pet Rescue P.O. Box 792 Ellijay, GA 30540, in memory of Charles Deboard.
