Local Wins H&R Block Tax Sweepstakes

Melissa Buck, a local resident of Ellijay has won H&R Block’s 1,000 Win $1,000 Daily Sweepstakes.

She filed her taxes with the H&R Block Office on Tuesday, January 12 and was automatically entered into the contest. H&R Block honored the contest winner with a small reception Thursday the 21st and officially awarded her the prize money then. Buck says she was looking at getting a newer car with her tax return and is planning on adding her winnings to that.

Totaling $32,000,000 in prizes according to H&R Block’s Press Release, this program is continuing daily for those who have completed their tax returns in the H&R Block Office.
