Taylor Buford Pritchett, age 93 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. He was born October 27th, 1922, in Chatsworth, GA. Mr. Pritchett was a member of Mountaintown Baptist Church, and was the oldest member of the Oak Bowery Masonic Lodge #81 F&AM, He was raised as a master mason on November 8th, 1946. Mr. Pritchett was a graduate of Gilmer High School a retiree of Firestone Tire Company. He also was an avid farmer and enjoyed racoon hunting in his retirement years. He is preceded in death by wife Nena Barnes Pritchett and daughter Katie Pritchett Taffin.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 30th at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Barnett officiating. Masonic Rites will be performed by the Oak Bowery Masonic Lodge #81, following the funeral service at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion. Interment follows in the Mountaintown Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Roger and Kim Pritchett of Exton, PA.; grandchildren David Taffin, Matthew Pritchett, Lindsey Pritchett, Daniel Pritchett; great grandchildren Joshua, Nathan & David Taffin, Erin Pritchett Chase and Emily Chase; sister-in-laws&brother in-law; Ollie & Charlie Sales of Elloijay, Bernice C. Barnes of Ellijay, Helen James Barnes of Ellijay, Wanda P. Barnes of Ellijay.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 29, 2016, at Logan Funeral Home.
