Mr. Bill Key, age 87, of Ellijay passed Saturday January 30, 2016.
Bill was born in Gilmer County, Georgia in 1929. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Della Miller Key; brothers, Clyde E. Key and Winston O. Key.

Survivors are wife, Mrs. Pat Key; daughter; Lee Key-Brenton and son-in-law Rennie L. Brenton and grandson Kelsen W. Key, Jacksonville, FL; son Michael Key and daughter-in-law Hun Yan Fen Key and granddaughter, Chloe Key,Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Key was a teacher in Metro-Nashville, Tennessee and Gilmer County Schools and retired in 1999. He was also a veteran serving with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Private graveside services will be conducted at the Mt. Pleasant (Buckhorn) Baptist Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Georgia Mountains Hospice 70 Caring Way, Jasper,GA 30143 in memory of Mr. Key.
