Reta Carlene West Reynolds: Obituary

Mrs. Reta Carlene West Reynolds, age 72 of the Cartecay community, Ellijay, Georgia passed on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.

Mrs. Reynolds was born November 16, 1943 in Ellijay, Georgia to her late parents Vernon Estelle West and Callie Calista Mulkey West. Reta was a member of Riverhill Baptist Church and worked as a line lead manager for Lithonia Lighting. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Reynolds.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Janet and Robert Baker of Norcorss, GA and Lavonda Gravitt of Ellijay, GA; Son and daughter-in-law, Thomas, Jr. and Rhonda Pendley of Marietta, GA; Grandchildren, Kori Hall, Clay Pendley and Cole Pendley; Great grandchildren, Anslea Hall, Evan Hall, and Piper Pendley; Sisters and brother-in-law, Renda Richards and Regina and Ricky Dockery, all of Ellijay, GA; Brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Martha West of Ellijay, GA; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 6th, 2015 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Hood and Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Music and vocals will be by Leta Hood, Shirley Suddeth, Ronald and Linda Hyde, Thelma Champion, and Robin Evans. Graveside interment will be held in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with Clay Pendley, Cole Pendley, Justin Richards, Randy Richards, Darren West, Derrick West, and Josh Hall serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 5, 2016, at the Logan Funeral Home.
