Mrs. Ellaree F. Watkins, age 85, of Ellijay, died Saturday February 6, 2016.

Mrs. Watkins was born July 14, 1931 in Fannin County the daughter of the late  Oscar and Martha Shook Miller. She worked in the Textile industry, was a member  of the Harmony Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, husband,  Morris Watkins and son Larry Watkins.

Survivors include: children; Cindy Pless, Cumming, Connie Reed, Dwayne Watkins,  David Watkins, James Watkins, Mark and Matthew Watkins all of Ellijay, 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, brother; Robert Miller, Blue Ridge, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 12noon from the chapel of Bernhardt funeral Home with Dr. Milton Perry officiating. Interment will be in the Underwood Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends Sunday from 4 until 9pm at the funeral home.
