Mr. William Charlie Posey, age 72, of Ellijay, died Friday February 19, 2016.
Mr. Posey was born September 15, 1943, in Murray County, the son of the late William”Bill” and Ober Sisson Posey. He worked in the Maintenance Department for Gilmer County. His son Jerry Poesy preceded him in death.

Survivors include: daughter; Greta Posey, Ellijay, grandson, Jerry Ray Lowe and great grandchildren, Chloe Grace and Jessie Mae Lowe, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be held Sunday February 21, 2016 at 2:00pm from the Mountaintown Baptist church cemetery with Rev. Johnny Grizzle officiating.

The family will meet with friends Sunday from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
