Mrs. Ina Loretta Arp Roberson, age 79 of the Whitestone Community, Talking Tock, GA passed on Friday February 26th, 2016. Born July 14th,1936 to her late parents Thomas and Alene Bell Arp in Culberson, North Carolina. She was a homemaker and devoted church member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Roberson, son, Roy Roberson, Jr., great granddaughter, Penelope Hefner, sister, Ruby Lee Atkins and brother, David Arp.
Mrs. Roberson is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Paul Smith, Sherry and Frank Martinez, son and daughter-in-law, David and Edna Roberson all of Ellijay, GA., ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, sisters, Edna Shields of Culberson, NC, Ann Lingerfelt of Adairsville, GA, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm on Monday February 29th, 2016 from the Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Sanford, Rev. Steven Kilborn and Rev. Jackie Ellington officiating. Music and singing will be by the Flat Creek Baptist Church Choir. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Charles Cross, Mark Simmons, Travis Carroll, Larry Keener, Tommy Shields, Ronnie Lingerfelt, Gary Standridge and Rickey Standridge serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Flat Creek Baptist Church for a visitation starting at 3:00pm on Sunday February 28th, 2016. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home. The fellowship hall of the church will be open for those wishing to bring food for the family. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.loganfuneralhome.com.
