Mr. Joseph Franklin Nuckols age 92 of Talking Rock, GA died Sunday March 6, 2016.

Mr. Nuckols was born September 19, 1923 in Cripple Creek, Virginia to the late Ellis Pierce and Mary Catherine Melvina Sawyer Nuckolls. He worked as a diesel mechanic and was a World War II veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Reeves Nuckols.

Survivors Include: daughters, Donna Nuckols, of Talking Rock, GA and Frankie Hunt, of McDonough, GA; grandchildren and spouses, Jimmy and Lisa McMillian, Joey and Jessica Hunt; great grandchild, Mackenzie McMillian.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday March 12th at 11am from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with family and friends officiating.

In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org in memory of Mr. Nuckols.
