Mr. Jerry Lee “Bird” Garrett: Obituary

Mr. Jerry Lee “Bird” Garrett, age 60 of Waleska, GA died Sunday March 13, 2016.

Mr. Garrett was born January 22, 1956 in Hampton, GA to the late John and Grace McDaniel Garrett. He worked in construction as a roofer and was of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Earl, Guy, Grady, Johnny, Eugene and Charles Garrett; infant twins; daughter, Patsy Ivey.

Survivors Include: sons, Timothy Millsaps, Jasper, GA and Waylon Garrett, Dawsonville, GA; daughter, Martha Wilson, Walaska, GA; brothers, Edward Garrett, Marble Hill, GA and Larry Garrett, Pittsburg, PA; sisters, Helen Young, Rydal, GA and Mary Mewborn, Marble Hill, GA; 3 Brice Wilson, Scotty Ivey and Katie Jo Corbin.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday March 17th at 2pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Longer and Rev. Lee Tanner officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday March 16th from 6pm until 9pm at the funeral home.
