Ms. Joan Lorraine Hart: Obituary

Ms. Joan Lorraine Hart, age 86 of Ellijay, Georgia passed on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at her residence. Born June 13, 1929 in Santa Barbara, California , she was the daughter of the late Edgar Peck and the late Bertha Stein Peck. Ms. Hart graduated high school in Santa Barbara, CA, class of 1946, then continued her education at the Knapp College of Nursing where she received an RN degree. She retired with St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton, CA with over 30 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Emanuel Hart III, daughter, Kathryn Hart, son, John Hart, granddaughter, Jacqueline Hawkins and great grandson, Elijah Shelton.

A Memorial Mass is scheduled for 11:00AM Saturday March 19th, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Catholic Church with Father Carlos Vargas officiating.

Ms. Hart is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Kenneth Hawkins of Ellijay, GA, Tricia and Robert Kauffman of Ellijay, GA, Sandra and Peter Ruggiero of Poway, CA, Susan and Butch Shelton of Cherry Valley, CA, Linda Oexmann of Phoenix, AZ and Angela and Chuck Fitzgerald of Pasco, WA., grandchildren, Brian Hawkins, Jennifer Hendricks, Joseph Parry, Jaime Kauffman Palumbo, Robert Grant Kauffman, Matthew and Caleb Ruggiero, William, Stephanie, Jason and Luke Shelton, Jared and Thomas Oexmann, Kelly, Charlie, Ian and Colin Fitzgerald and Cameron Hart, great grandchildren, Alhanna and Charlotte Hawkins, Jake Timmons, Luke Hendricks, Lilith and Dalilah Parry, Spencer, Aidan and Emma Palumbo, Domenic and Alison Ruggiero, Chloe and Shiloh Jorden and Luke Laurence.
