Mrs. Jewett Evelyn Silver age 94 of Ellijay, GA passed away Thursday March 24, 2016.

Mrs. Silver was born October 22, 1921 in Pickens County to the late Carter Cleveland Southern and Linda O’Dessie Simmons. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Royce Delmar Silver; son, Terry Don Silver; infant child; brother, Lorens Southern; sister, Jewell Garland and son in-law William “Bill” Keener.

Survivors Include: daughter, June Keener, of Ellijay, GA; granddaughter, Debra Keener Schlenke, of Ellijay, GA; great grandson and spouse, Craig and Chyrl Schlenke, of Ellijay, GA; great great grandchildren, Royce and Freeman Schlenke, of Ellijay, GA; brother and sister in-law, Lloyd and Edna Southern, of Carrolton, GA; sister, Lowree Godfrey, of Marietta, GA.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 26th at 5pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Jerry Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Ballcreek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday March 26th from 2pm until the service hour at 5pm at the funeral home.
