Mr. Claude K. Ridings age 85 of Chatsworth, died Friday April 8, 2016.

Mr. Ridings was born September 19, 1930 in Gilmer County the son of the late John Oliver and Ethel Stone Ridings. He was retired from Georgia Marble Co where he worked as a Foreman, he was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church and Blaine Lodge. He is preceded in death by his wives Edna Painter Ridings and Ruth Cochran Ridings.

Survivors include: Sons and daughters-in-law: Earl and Glenda Ridings, Ellijay, Honorary Son and daughter-in-law:Charles and Judy Ridings, Charlotte, N.C., Daughters and sons-in-law: Betty and J.C. Dale, Ellijay,Mae Deaton, Chatsworth, Linda and Glen Hawkins, Talking Rock, Brenda and Doyle Weaver, Chatsworth,Mildred Pendergrass, Ellijay, Claudette and James Painter, Chatsworth, Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, R.J. and Oleeta Cochran, Ellijay, several Grandchildren, host of great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday April 11, 2016 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Stover, Rev. William Fossett and Rev. Billy Dotson officiating.

Interment will be in the Turniptown Church cemetery with graveside masonic rites by Blaine Lodge.
The family will meet friends Sunday from 3 until 9pm at the funeral home.
Bernhardt Funeral home is in charge of arrangments.
