Mr. James Ralph Cantrell, age 57 of Ellijay, GA passed on Monday, April 18th, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Rome, GA.

Mr. Cantrell was born September 3rd, 1958 in Jasper, GA to his late parents Wayne Ralph Cantrell and Julia Inez Perry Cantrell. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Pickens county. Ralph graduated from Pickens High School, Class of 1976, and worked most of his life as a poultry farmer, in addition to working as an EMT and a radiology technician.

He is survived by his life partner Tim S. Beavers of the home in Ellijay, GA, along with a multitude of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Holt officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Jasper, GA.

Visitation will be held from 12noon until the funeral hour on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 at Logan Funeral Home.
